2015-16 O’Brien Fellow and Pittsburgh Post Gazette reporter Liz Navratil joined a Diederich College of Communication media management class this week per the request of Dr. Sumana Chattopadhyay, associate professor of digital media and performing arts. Navratil spoke on how newsrooms are adapting to changes in technology and how this has impacted her job as a crime reporter. She also discussed how journalists should use social networking apps. The class ended with students asking for advice navigating the journalism job market.
